Heart and Vascular Research Institute
Preventing heart attack, stroke and diabetes.
The Heart and Vascular Research Institute is focused on saving people from suffering heart attacks, strokes, and leg or foot amputation from diabetes.
We have a large team of experts researching new treatments, devices, and drugs to tackle the underlying process called “atherosclerosis” whereby our blood vessels silt up and reduce blood supply to vital organs. This process is responsible for the most deaths in the developed world; far more than cancer, and funding is urgently required to enable critical work to continue.
If you or a family member have been touched by these problems, your support is urgently needed for our researchers, biologists, biomedical engineers, scientists and clinical team to keep our vital work on track.
Thank you for your generosity!
