Perron Institute is supporting Parkinson’s Awareness Month, to help our researchers better understand Parkinson’s disease.

Despite being widespread, very little is known about what factors cause Parkinson’s, with wide variation in the age that symptoms start, how rapidly it progresses and how people respond to treatment however public awareness of Parkinson’s has been heightened in recent years by the impact of the disease on high-profile personalities including actor Michael J Fox, boxer Mohammed Ali and comedian Billy Connolly.

Help Perron Institute to bring solutions to the community and enable effective treatment for rare neurological diseases.
