WaSSAaP Staff Wellbeing Committee
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges for the entire Western Australian community. It has been recognised that there has been a particular impact on the WA Health workforce.
The staff Wellbeing Committee (WaSSAaP) are fundraising to provide Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) staff with mental health and wellbeing support to increase mental health awareness in the workplace.
This includes a wellbeing course for staff to attend focusing on:
- Goal setting
- Vision boards
- Gratitude
This course would blend the science of positive psychology with creativity and curiosity – and empower staff to thrive.
Courses will facilitate a process through which the participating staff will discover what is important for them in their wellness and how to combat challenging feelings and situations. Staff will be working together in coming up with ideas for how they can improve their Workplace Wellness and not experience avoidable stress and burnout.
